New Zealand - First official international project. Taught from New Zealand to middle school students in Cerritos, CA

Pantanal, Brazil - First National Geographic Education Foundation and Earthwatch Fellowship. Field research covering such topics as insect life in the wetlands; birds, population and diet in salt marshes, peccary, native mammal of Brazilian wetlands.

Mongolia Argali - Research project by Earthwatch Institute and Earthbound 3, done by invitation. Study included facts on Mongolian Argali as well as climatology.

VietNam Butterflies - National Geographic Education Foundation and Earthwatch Fellowship. Field research and TeachLive project. Research topic: monitoring forest health through native butterflies.

Voices of Pompeii - Basic study of volcanic eruptions and their effect on human society.
