Happy to be all together at last! From left to right, our community fellow Auggie, myself (Arsen), one of the other volunteers named Forrest and Tyler all smile as their Scrabble game draws to a close. We are seated inside the volunteer ger (a hut-like structure) that has all kinds of decorative Monglian designs throughout it.

Tyler poses with a stampede of domesticated sheep directly behind him. Rocks like the ones behind him are on two sides of the camp.

Tyler films the landscape from his helicopter window. The ride was scary at times when the wind picked up, but we all made it safely back to the ground.

Jamie enjoys herself as she cracks out her personal mini-cam for the first time in Mongolia.

Arsen snaps a photograph of the giant helicopter which belatedly took Arsen and Jamie to camp.

Here is a picture of our camp from the air. The two round-shaped buildings are called gers (pronounced "gairs"). They are very common in most parts of Mongolia and often sleep an entire family, sometimes even extended family.
