This young boy poses in a traditional Mongolian herders outfit. It is called a "del". It is designed to keep herders warm even while rounding up livestock in the snow.

This is one of the team cars which drives volunteers around the surroundings of the camp. This van can fit more people than any other van on the market... it broke world records with 14 one day!

Here is a picture of everyone packed tightly into the van like sardines, all in the name of science.


Jamie holds a young lamb just before it is released back into the wild. The lamb is blindfolded to keep it calm while it is being worked on. It is important to do as many tests on as many lambs as possible, but most important is the well being of the lamb.

The team poses for one last picture. This has been a memorable project, and we have all had a great time, here at the site. Tomorrow, we will report back on our last day in the Gobi Desert.
